I was, as partner, responsible for acquisition &  finance and one of the 25 change managers who managed large change processes within the organization of our multinational customers. Like ABN AMRO, Philips, Shell, General Electric, Vopak, Essent, Randstad, KPN and Ministry of Defense.  We formed the Vision Web Group, extending our services (with IT and finance) and geographical coverage to be able to support our customers. In 2001 The Vision web group consists of ca. 600 employees, was located in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Singapore and Australia. In 2004 the company has been sold.

DEC was one  the top 3 IT suppliers in the world before it was taken over by HP in 2001. In 1989 DEC  had planned to increase service sales because of the erosion of profits in hardware. As programme manager I was assigned to increase these service sales. I managed the realization of large international programs, the development of consortia and contracts for cooperation. With some programs several hundreds of millions of Euro were concerned. As business development manager I was responsible for the acquisition and development of the service business.  In 1996 the companies service sales exceeded the hardware sales.

In this period I was responsible for:

§         Many business propositions for multinational companies as bid manager,

§         Realization of a new company for ship design and research for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in India,

§         Reducing lead time of patent request by implementation of an electronic archiving system for patent requests for the European Patent Office and associated patent offices in 16 European countries.
